This Privacy Policy explains how Plugins Hub (“Plugins Hub”, “we”, “our”, or “us”) collects, uses, discloses, and protects information in connection with our website, browser extensions, and related services available through https://pluginshub.site (collectively, the “Services”).
This policy is intended to cover Plugins Hub browser extensions, including social media downloader, exporter, and scraper extensions for platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, WhatsApp, Threads, and other supported websites. The extensions may help users download or export images, videos, posts, chats, followers, group members, and similar content that the user chooses to process in their own browser.
Plugins Hub is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Instagram, Facebook, WhatsApp, Threads, Meta, or any other third-party social media platform.
If you have questions about this Privacy Policy or our data practices, please contact us at contact@pluginshub.site.
1. Summary for Browser Extension Users
Our browser extensions are designed to run locally in your browser.
- The extensions process supported webpage content on your device to provide the download, export, scraping, or organization feature you request.
- Scraped, downloaded, or exported content does not leave your browser or device through our systems.
- We do not upload social media content, chats, posts, captions, comments, follower lists, group member lists, media files, media URLs, or exported files to our servers.
- We do not sell user data.
- We do not use tracking, advertising pixels, behavioral analytics, or third-party analytics tools.
- We use our backend only for limited account, pricing, payment, and subscription-related functions.
2. Information Processed Locally by Browser Extensions
Depending on the specific extension and the feature you choose to use, the extension may access and process content from supported webpages in order to perform the requested action. This may include:
- Images, videos, thumbnails, and media URLs
- Posts, captions, comments, timestamps, usernames, profile names, and public profile information visible on the page
- Chats, messages, attachments, contact names, group names, and group member information visible in the browser
- Follower, following, liker, commenter, or member lists visible to your account on the supported website
- Page structure, page URLs, and other webpage data needed to locate and export the content you selected
This processing happens locally in your browser. Plugins Hub does not receive, store, host, share, or review the scraped or exported content through our servers. Exported files are created on your device, and you control how those files are stored, shared, or deleted.
The extensions only use webpage access to provide the extension features you choose to run. We do not use webpage content for advertising, profiling, credit decisions, data resale, unrelated product research, or unrelated analytics.
3. Information Stored Locally by Browser Extensions
The extensions may store information locally in your browser or on your device so that the extension can work properly. This may include:
- Extension settings and preferences
- Authentication or session tokens
- Export history
- Cached results
- Subscription status
- Product identifiers or configuration needed to operate the extension
This local extension data remains on your device. You can remove locally stored extension data by uninstalling the extension or clearing the extension’s browser storage through your browser settings.
4. Information We Collect Through Accounts and Subscriptions
Some features require you to sign in or maintain an active subscription. For those features, we may collect and process the following information:
Google Sign-In information. If you sign in with Google, we receive your email address, name, and profile photo from Google. We use this information to authenticate you, identify your account, and connect your account to subscription access.
Subscription status requests. When an extension checks whether you have access to a paid feature, it sends your email address and the relevant product ID to our backend. We use this information to return subscription status to the extension.
Pricing information. Extensions or our website may request pricing or product information from our backend so that we can show current plan details.
Payment and billing information. Payments are processed by Stripe. We do not store full payment card numbers. We may receive and store billing-related records from Stripe, such as customer identifiers, subscription identifiers, product or plan identifiers, payment status, renewal dates, and transaction status.
Support communications. If you contact us for support, we may receive your email address, name, message contents, attachments, screenshots, troubleshooting details, and any other information you choose to provide.
5. Information We Do Not Collect
We do not collect through our servers:
- The social media content you download, export, or scrape
- WhatsApp chats or other chat exports
- Images, videos, audio, documents, or attachments exported by the extension
- Follower lists, group member lists, contact lists, or post lists exported by the extension
- Captions, comments, messages, or profile data exported by the extension
- Exported CSV, JSON, ZIP, media, or other output files created by the extension
- Browsing history unrelated to the extension feature you choose to use
- Advertising identifiers or data used for cross-site tracking
We do not use tracking tools, advertising cookies, analytics pixels, or behavioral advertising technologies in the Services.
6. How We Use Information
We use the limited account, subscription, payment, and support information we collect to:
- Provide, operate, and maintain the Services
- Authenticate users through Google Sign-In
- Verify subscription status and paid feature access
- Display pricing and product information
- Process payments, renewals, cancellations, and billing records through Stripe
- Respond to support requests and troubleshoot issues
- Maintain account security and prevent fraud or abuse
- Comply with legal, tax, accounting, and payment obligations
- Enforce our Terms of Service and other applicable agreements
We do not use scraped or exported content for any purpose because we do not receive that content through our systems.
7. How We Share Information
We do not sell user data. We also do not share scraped or exported content because that content does not leave your browser or device through our systems.
We may share limited account, subscription, payment, or support information with the following service providers only as needed to operate the Services:
- Google Sign-In, to authenticate users who choose to sign in with Google
- Stripe, to process payments, subscriptions, billing, renewals, and payment-related records
- Supabase, to store and manage account and subscription-related records
- Gmail and Zoho Mail, to send, receive, and manage support or account-related email communications
These providers process information according to their own privacy policies and contractual obligations. We do not authorize these providers to use your information for our advertising or cross-site tracking.
We may also disclose information if required by law, legal process, or a valid governmental request, or if we believe disclosure is necessary to protect the rights, property, security, or safety of Plugins Hub, our users, or others.
If Plugins Hub is involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, bankruptcy, sale of assets, or similar business transaction, limited account, subscription, payment, and support records may be transferred as part of that transaction. Scraped or exported extension content would not be transferred through our systems because we do not store it.
8. Data Retention
Local extension data stays on your device until you delete it, clear browser storage, or uninstall the extension. Uninstalling the extension deletes the data stored locally by that extension from your browser.
We retain server-side account and subscription records for as long as needed to provide the Services, verify subscription access, process payments, maintain business records, comply with legal, tax, accounting, and reporting obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements.
Support emails are retained for as long as reasonably necessary to respond to your request, maintain support history, and comply with our business or legal obligations.
When we no longer need personal information, we will delete or anonymize it where reasonably practicable.
9. Your Choices and Controls
You control what content you choose to process with the extensions. If you do not want an extension to process a particular page or content type, do not run the extension feature on that page or content.
You can remove locally stored extension data by uninstalling the extension or clearing the extension’s browser storage through your browser settings.
You may stop using Google Sign-In for the Services by signing out, uninstalling the extension, or managing connected apps in your Google account settings.
You may request deletion of server-side account or subscription records by contacting us at contact@pluginshub.site. We may need to retain certain information where required for legal, tax, accounting, payment, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, or security purposes.
You may contact us to access, correct, or delete personal information we maintain about you, subject to applicable law and reasonable identity verification.
10. Security
We use reasonable technical, administrative, and organizational safeguards designed to protect the limited personal information we process on our servers. These measures are designed to protect account, subscription, payment-related, and support information from unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction.
No method of electronic transmission or storage is completely secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security, but we work to protect the information we handle in a manner appropriate to the nature of the information.
11. Third-Party Websites and Platforms
Our extensions operate on third-party websites and platforms selected by users. Those third-party platforms are not operated by Plugins Hub. Your use of those platforms remains subject to the platforms’ own terms, privacy policies, account settings, and permissions.
The fact that an extension can help you download, export, or organize content visible in your browser does not mean Plugins Hub controls that third-party platform or its privacy practices.
12. Children’s Privacy
The Services are not directed to children under the age of 13, and children under 13 are not permitted to use the Services. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us at contact@pluginshub.site and we will take reasonable steps to delete the information where required by law.
13. International Users
Plugins Hub may process account, subscription, payment-related, and support information in countries other than the country where you live. These countries may have data protection laws that differ from those in your jurisdiction.
Where required by applicable law, we take steps designed to protect personal information when it is transferred internationally.
14. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make changes, we will update the “Last Updated” date above and post the revised policy on our website.
If we make material changes to how we collect, use, or share personal information, we will provide additional notice where required by law.
