This Privacy Policy applies specifically to the FB Group Scraper Chrome extension, also described as Facebook Group Member Scraper, Facebook Group Members Exporter, or FB Group Member Exporter (the “Extension”). The Chrome Web Store extension ID is bnlncihomnoknnibnopnghbmdakkkhbj.
This page explains what Facebook group and member data the Extension reads or processes, what stays on your device, what may be sent to Facebook or Meta from your browser, what Plugins Hub does not collect, and how optional Pro, subscription, payment, and support information is handled.
This privacy policy is provided by Plugins Hub. For questions, contact contact@pluginshub.site.
FB Group Scraper is an independent Chrome extension. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or operated by Facebook, Meta Platforms, Inc., Instagram, WhatsApp, Threads, or any other Meta product.
1. What the Extension Does
FB Group Scraper helps users export Facebook group member information from Facebook groups they choose to access in their own browser. Depending on the page, group, and feature you use, the Extension can:
- Read member information visible to your Facebook account for a selected group
- Extract a supported group member list after you click the Extension’s start or export controls
- Collect available member fields such as user ID, full name, profile URL, profile picture URL, biography, verification status, and group ID
- Track which Facebook group the exported member came from
- Format extracted member information into a CSV file
- Save the CSV file to your device through Chrome’s download flow
- Organize exports into local folders or filenames based on the group or account name
- Track local scraping progress, pagination, retries, limits, and task status while an export is running
- Check Free and Pro plan limits and subscription status if your installed version includes paid features
The Extension is designed to run locally in your browser. You do not provide your Facebook password to Plugins Hub or to the Extension. If a group or member list is visible only to your Facebook account, group membership, page permissions, role, or browser session, you must be signed in to Facebook in your browser for the Extension to access that content.
2. Facebook Group Member Data Processed Locally
When you start a group member extraction or CSV export, the Extension may read or process data from Facebook pages, dialogs, responses, scripts, or resources that your browser can access for the group you selected. This may include:
- Facebook group URLs, group names, group IDs, and group page structure
- Facebook member user IDs or profile IDs
- Member full names, profile URLs, profile picture URLs, biographies, visible profile snippets, and verification status
- Member list entries, pagination cursors, visible group-member metadata, and technical response data needed to continue the export
- Browser page structure, buttons, links, dialogs, scrolling state, and loading state needed to locate and collect member rows
- CSV column names, sanitized filenames, export queue state, progress state, retry state, completion state, and export results
Purpose: this data is used to collect the group member list you selected, create a structured CSV export, show progress, organize the output, and save the selected export to your device.
Storage and handling: Facebook group and member data is processed in browser memory while the Extension is running. Some operational data may be stored locally in Chrome extension storage so the Extension can remember settings, maintain task state, avoid duplicate work, enforce local limits, or show progress.
Sharing: Plugins Hub servers do not receive, upload, store, host, review, sell, or share the Facebook group member lists, CSV files, user IDs, names, profile URLs, profile picture URLs, biographies, verification status, group IDs, group names, pagination data, filenames, folder names, or export results processed by the Extension.
3. CSV Exports Stay on Your Device
When you use the Extension to export Facebook group members, the CSV file is created for download on your device through Chrome’s local download feature. Plugins Hub does not receive a copy of the CSV file.
The CSV may contain the fields selected or supported by the Extension, including user ID, full name, profile URL, profile picture URL, biography, verification status, group ID, group name, and related member-list fields. After the CSV is saved, you control how it is stored, imported, shared, or deleted.
The Extension may use the Facebook group name or account name visible on the page to create a local folder name or filename. That organization happens on your device and is not reported to Plugins Hub.
You are responsible for how you use exported member information, including any import into Excel, Google Sheets, Airtable, CRM platforms, databases, email outreach tools, marketing automation platforms, recruiting systems, or analytics tools. Please use the Extension responsibly and only export or use data in ways allowed by applicable law, Facebook’s terms, and the permissions you have for the group.
4. Requests to Facebook and Meta
To display Facebook groups and retrieve the member information you choose to export, your browser may send requests directly to Facebook, Meta, or Facebook CDN domains such as facebook.com, m.facebook.com, and fbcdn.net.
Those requests may include Facebook cookies, account session status, group identifiers, member identifiers, pagination details, request parameters, and response data required by Facebook to return the content visible to your browser.
These requests are made directly between your browser and Facebook or Meta services. Plugins Hub does not proxy those requests through Plugins Hub servers and does not receive Facebook cookies, Facebook authentication tokens, Facebook passwords, Facebook group member lists, or CSV export files.
Your use of Facebook remains subject to Facebook’s own terms, privacy policy, account settings, permissions, and technical controls.
5. Local Extension Storage
The Extension may store limited operational information locally in your browser or on your device. Local storage may include:
- Extension settings and preferences
- Current task ID, active task state, and export progress
- Group member export queue information
- Cached lookup results, pagination state, or page-processing state used to continue a task
- Retry, pause, resume, completion, or error status
- Local export history or recently processed group references
- Free or Pro plan usage counters and local limit state
- Subscription or license status if your installed version includes paid features
- Authentication or session tokens if you choose to sign in for paid features
This information remains on your device unless you choose to send it to us, such as by including screenshots, logs, CSV samples, or troubleshooting details in a support request.
You can delete local Extension data by uninstalling the Extension or clearing the Extension’s storage in Chrome. Exported CSV files remain on your device until you delete them.
6. Information Sent to Plugins Hub
FB Group Scraper does not send Facebook group member lists, CSV files, user IDs, full names, profile URLs, profile picture URLs, biographies, verification status, group IDs, group names, or export results to Plugins Hub.
The Extension’s group member extraction and CSV export features are designed to run locally in your browser. The only information that may be sent to Plugins Hub relates to optional account access, pricing, subscriptions, payments, and support:
Pricing requests. If your installed version displays paid plans, the Extension or website may request current product and pricing information from Plugins Hub so plan details can be shown.
Subscription checks. If you use Pro or paid features, the Extension may send your email address and the relevant product ID to Plugins Hub to check whether your subscription or license is active.
Google Sign-In. If you choose to sign in with Google for account or paid-feature access, Plugins Hub receives your email address, name, and profile photo from Google. We use this information to identify your account and connect it to subscription access.
Payments. Paid subscriptions or purchases may be processed by Stripe. Plugins Hub does not store full payment card numbers. We may receive and store Stripe-related records such as customer IDs, subscription IDs, product or plan IDs, payment status, renewal dates, invoice status, and transaction status.
Support. If you contact support, we may receive your email address, name, message, attachments, screenshots, browser or Extension version details, troubleshooting details, and any other information you choose to provide. Please avoid sending CSV files or personal data unless needed for your support request.
7. Information Plugins Hub Does Not Collect Through Its Servers
Plugins Hub does not collect, upload, host, sell, or review the following through its servers during normal Extension use:
- Facebook group member lists exported by the Extension
- CSV files generated by the Extension
- Facebook user IDs, full names, profile URLs, profile picture URLs, biographies, verification status, group IDs, or group names extracted for export
- Facebook group URLs, member-list pagination data, member-list response data, or generated local export files
- Facebook comments, posts, reactions, friends lists, group member private communications, messages, or private account data unrelated to the export task you start
- Your Facebook password, Facebook authentication cookies, or Facebook login credentials
- Your general browsing history outside the Facebook pages where the Extension is providing its group member export functionality
- Advertising identifiers, cross-site tracking identifiers, usage analytics for advertising, or behavioral profiling data
Plugins Hub does not use the Extension for advertising tracking, personalized advertising, behavioral profiling, data brokerage, resale of user data, spyware, or AI training on exported Facebook group member data.
8. How User Data Is Used
The Extension uses locally processed Facebook group and member data only to provide the group member extraction and CSV export features selected by you, including:
- Detecting supported Facebook group member lists
- Showing Extension controls on supported Facebook pages
- Reading visible group member data for a task you start
- Continuing pagination or scrolling for the selected export
- Creating CSV rows and columns
- Saving CSV files to your device
- Organizing exports by group or account name
- Managing task progress, retries, pause/resume behavior, local limits, and local settings
Plugins Hub uses account, pricing, subscription, payment, and support information only to:
- Provide and maintain the Extension and related services
- Display current pricing and product information
- Verify subscription or license status and enable paid features
- Process purchases, renewals, cancellations, refunds, invoices, and payment records through Stripe
- Authenticate users who choose to sign in with Google
- Respond to support requests and troubleshoot issues
- Protect accounts, prevent fraud, and address misuse
- Comply with legal, tax, accounting, payment, and recordkeeping obligations
- Enforce applicable terms and policies
Because Plugins Hub does not receive Facebook group member exports or CSV files, we do not use that content for any purpose.
9. How User Data Is Shared
Plugins Hub does not sell user data. Plugins Hub does not share Facebook group member lists, CSV files, user IDs, names, profile URLs, profile picture URLs, biographies, verification status, group IDs, group names, filenames, or folder names because that content is not sent to Plugins Hub.
The following parties may receive data as described below:
- Facebook, Meta, and Facebook CDN domains. When you browse Facebook or use the Extension to fetch group pages, member-list pages, profile resources, or profile picture resources, your browser sends requests directly to Facebook.com, m.facebook.com, fbcdn.net, or related Meta services. Those requests may include Facebook cookies, account session status, request parameters, group IDs, member IDs, pagination details, and resource URLs needed by Facebook to return the requested content.
- Plugins Hub backend at pluginshub.site. Receives product/pricing requests and, if you sign in or use paid features, your email address and product ID for subscription checks. Plugins Hub does not receive Facebook group member export data.
- Google Sign-In. Provides optional sign-in. If you sign in with Google, Google provides Plugins Hub with your email address, name, and profile photo.
- Stripe. Processes purchases, subscriptions, renewals, cancellations, invoices, and payment status. Plugins Hub does not store full credit card numbers.
- Supabase. May provide account, authentication, or subscription-related backend records used by Plugins Hub.
- Gmail and Zoho Mail. Used for support and account-related email communications.
- Chrome and the local browser environment. Chrome stores extension data locally or in Chrome sync storage according to your browser settings, and Chrome receives download URLs, filenames, and folder paths through the local downloads API so CSV files can be saved on your device.
We may also disclose limited account, payment, or support information if required by law, subpoena, court order, legal process, or a valid government request, or if we believe disclosure is necessary to protect the rights, property, safety, or security of Plugins Hub, users, or others.
10. Chrome Extension Permissions
The Extension uses browser permissions only to provide its visible Facebook group member extraction and CSV export features. Depending on the Extension version, permissions may be used to:
- Access Facebook pages where the Extension is active
- Add extraction, start, progress, or export controls to supported Facebook group pages
- Read visible Facebook group and member-list content needed to identify members and create CSV exports
- Open, update, scroll, or monitor tabs involved in an export task you start
- Start browser downloads selected by you
- Store Extension settings, cached results, task status, local limits, and subscription status locally
- Communicate with Plugins Hub services for pricing, sign-in, or subscription checks if your installed version includes paid features
The Extension does not use browser permissions to track unrelated browsing activity, collect unrelated webpage content, monitor websites where it is not providing Facebook group member export functionality, or send unrelated browsing history to Plugins Hub.
11. Limited Use Disclosure
FB Group Scraper uses user data only to provide or improve its single purpose: helping users export Facebook group member information they choose to access into local CSV files.
The Extension does not use or transfer user data for personalized advertising, retargeting, interest-based advertising, data brokerage, resale, credit eligibility, lending, employment decisions, or unrelated profiling.
Plugins Hub does not allow humans to read Facebook group member data processed by the Extension because that content is not sent to Plugins Hub. If you contact support and choose to send screenshots, logs, CSV samples, filenames, or other troubleshooting details, support personnel may review the information you provide only to help with your request, investigate abuse or security issues, comply with law, or satisfy other permitted operational needs.
12. Data Retention
Local Extension data remains on your device until you delete it, clear browser storage, or uninstall the Extension. Uninstalling the Extension removes locally stored Extension data from your browser.
Exported CSV files and local folders are saved on your device and remain there until you delete them.
Plugins Hub retains server-side account and subscription records for as long as needed to provide paid access, process payments, maintain business records, comply with legal, tax, accounting, and reporting obligations, resolve disputes, prevent fraud, and enforce agreements.
Support messages are retained for as long as reasonably necessary to respond to requests, maintain support history, and satisfy business or legal obligations.
When personal information is no longer needed, Plugins Hub deletes or anonymizes it where reasonably practicable.
13. Your Choices and Controls
You choose which Facebook groups or member lists to process with the Extension. If you do not want the Extension to process a group, member list, profile, page, or Facebook view, do not run the Extension on that page or item.
You can:
- Stop, pause, resume, or cancel supported export tasks in the Extension UI
- Delete exported CSV files and folders from your device
- Clear local Extension data through Chrome settings
- Uninstall the Extension to remove local extension storage
- Sign out of the Extension if you signed in
- Manage Google connected-app access in your Google account settings
- Contact Plugins Hub to request deletion of server-side account or subscription records, subject to legal, tax, accounting, payment, fraud-prevention, security, and dispute-resolution retention requirements
14. Security
Facebook group member extraction and CSV export are designed to happen locally in your browser. Plugins Hub uses reasonable technical, administrative, and organizational safeguards designed to protect the limited account, subscription, payment-related, and support information processed by our services.
If user data is transmitted to Plugins Hub for account, subscription, payment, or support purposes, it is transmitted using secure connections. No method of electronic transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
15. Third-Party Platform Notice
FB Group Scraper works with Facebook groups and group member information selected by users. Facebook, Meta, and Facebook CDN services are not operated or controlled by Plugins Hub.
Your use of Facebook remains subject to Facebook’s own terms, privacy policy, account settings, and permissions. The Extension does not give you ownership of third-party data and does not grant permission to use exported data in ways prohibited by law, privacy rules, marketing rules, copyright rules, or platform terms.
16. Children’s Privacy
The Extension and related services are not directed to children under 13, and children under 13 may not use them. Plugins Hub does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact contact@pluginshub.site and we will take reasonable steps to delete the information where required by law.
17. Changes to This Policy
Plugins Hub may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make changes, we will update the “Last Updated” date and post the revised version on this page.
If we make material changes to how we collect, use, store, or share personal information, we will provide additional notice where required by law.
